Studies.
The process of studying God isn't really like studying for a math test or a medical exam; it's not like that at all.
Instead, studying God is individually seeking His knowledge, His wisdom and His wants for your life and actively applying them.
Book knowledge is great for some things. Not for God. He has more for you, if you will passionately seek Him!
How do you seek God?
You seek God by creating moments for you & Him. Just the two of you.
By being still, often - and by listening to His Voice and allowing Him - to hear your voice in relationship, in prayer and thanksgiving with Him.
You seek God by acting in Jesus' stead when He who indwells your heart says to you
'Let's go love on that guy/gal over there!'
By creating moments with God you allow Him to create an appetite, a fire within you for more...Him!
And to satisfy that hunger, to feed that fire there exists only one fuel and It is amazing!
That food, that fuel is Jesus. Who is the Word who is the Bread of Life who is the Spirit of Truth who is Living Water who is ...
In consuming Jesus and by allowing yourself to be fueled by Jesus something amazing happens and that is
you come to be more and more and more
like Him.
